Happy 4th and Transformers stuff!
Happy 4th to everyone... don't blow off any fingers or anything. That'd be bad, m'kay?
Went to see Transformers last night and it was amazing. Overall by the end of the movie it felt like a Transformers movie to me. I really, really, enjoyed it.
Granted, I went into it expecting nothing more then violence and massive explosions (the typical Bayhem you'd get from one of his films)... so I was pleasantly surprised at the movie overall.
A lot of people are complaining about the ending (hell about a lot of things)... but specifically on who was killed off, etc. I'm not too worried about it. They've already green lit two sequels... So there are plenty of angles they can use as to what they want to do next.
I've already got one in mind so it'll be interesting if they tag that one at all.

First Rock Band gameplay video...
The video's from Gamespot from what's on the YouTube page. The four people are engineers on the project (from what's said at the end of the video) so that's why they are able to play on expert perfectly. =)
Even still... WOW. That looks like a helluva lot of fun. I can't wait for the game so I can get the drum kit and drum away.
For those not familier with it... The top section is the vocals, left is lead guitar, middle is the drums, and right is bass/rhythm guitar. The vocals work like Karaoke Revolution from what I've been told. The guitars pretty much work the same was as with the GH games. The drums work mostly the same, but instead of having a 5th "drum" it's got the kick pedal for the bass drum that's designated by the line across the bar.
Plus, I think showing a GnR song (especially that one) is a great way to show people that the songs are going to be great ones for this type of game.
